Yoshiki’s masterful Wembley Arena drum solo.

Recovering from his recent disc replacement surgery, X-Japan’s drummer/pianist/song writer/frontman, Yoshiki announced his intention to appear at Anime Expo. He will be at the Southern California anime convention to screen the X-Japan documentary, “We are X”. Following the presentation he will open up the floor for what will sure to be a memorable Q&A session.

Yoshiki announced recently that he would not cancel scheduled concert performances. Since Yoshiki is currently not able to play the drums, the rock concerts will be presented in an acoustic format. Yoshiki will be performing on piano.

Anime Expo will be taking place July 1-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
