After experiencing ongoing pain, numbness, and paralysis in his left arm and hand. It has been announced that YOSHIKI of X JAPAN will undergo an emergency cervical artificial disc replacement surgery on Tuesday, May 16th in Los Angeles.

Update: Yoshiki of X Japan underwent surgery for cervical artificial disc replacement on Tuesday, May 16th, 2017, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The operation was concluded successfully. A 90% recovery is expected over the next six months.
