FanimeCon 2016 Guests of Honor

FanimeCon 2016 brings together “by the fans, for the fans” a plethora of talent to the San Jose McEnery Convention
from May 27th, thru the 30th.

Announced are the following guests of honor:

Da-iCE 2nd album「EVERY SEASON」

Da-iCE a Japanese vocal and dance group, are the musical guests of honor this year. The members of Da-iCE are leader/dancer Taiki, vocalists Yūdai and Sōta, and dancers Tōru and Hayate. Each member represents one side of a six-sided dice, their fans representing the sixth side. The intentional “a-i” in the band’s name means “love” in Japanese. Continue reading →

New Trailers for Pokémon Sun/Moon

The official Pokémon channel on Youtube released a trailers for the new Pokémon games Sun and Moon.

The games locations are said to be inspired by Hawaii. The three starter Pokémon you can choose from are Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio. The design of your main character can now be customized. The games are to be released on November 18, 2016 in both North America and Japan. Europe will wait a bit longer with its release on November 23, 2016.

Hunter X Hunter English Dub

Adult Swim’s Toonami just released a preview for the new english dub of Hunter X Hunter. The first episode is going to air on April 16 at 1am on Toonami. Recently in March North American anime and manga distributor Vis Media released some of the English voice actors.

The Viz Media does plan on releasing the dub on Blu-ray and CD.

There is also a Hunter x Hunter manga but it has been on a hiatus ever since August of 2014. Viz Media has also confirmed that the manga will continue in the weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
